POE Yin Yoga
I love Yin Yoga! I should design a t-shirt. Yin Yoga changes my outlook on life.
My first experience, I was less than a fan. It was several years ago, Friday afternoon at 4:00 PM. What I needed was a run, not to sit in stillness. The instructor was very kind. Maybe it was a great class but all I remember is I could not take the silence or the stillness. My brain was all over the place.
In 2014, that all changed. I was attempting an at home, 6:00 AM practice. I went to my mat expecting to enjoy sun salutations and warrior poses but I found myself wallowing on my mat. Slowly moving from one shape to the next and simply melting into positions that felt tense or tight. Once the tightness passed, I shifted to the next shape. My entire day was better. I did a little research and discovered … Yin Yoga.
“After taking this class, I sleep the best I have in over 20 years.”
“For the 3 days after attending class, I have noticeably more energy … ALL day.”
“I am on my feet for hours at a time. Everyone in the service industry should take this class.”
“I’ve had a rough week. I have been waiting all day for 3:00 PM. I knew everything would feel better after class.”
“I cannot believe the change in my posture. I walk and sit so tall now. I feel like a super model.”
