Yin Yoga focuses on deeper tissues – ligaments, joints, deep fascial tissues and bones. Poses are similar to other styles of yoga but the approach is different. We come into a pose, find our “edge”, resolve to remain still, and hold the pose for a time. Benefits depend upon your personal intention. Improvements in flexibility, mindful awareness and stress level are common. With a continued practice physiological, mental, emotional and energetic benefits can be explored and discovered. Great for beginners to learn poses and for more advanced yogis to deepen their practice!
