Many factors influence the ability to successfully change behavior. Your readiness to change and understanding the benefits impacts your ability to reach your Health + Happiness destination.
Instructions: Rate the factors below from Low to High when considering this area of health.
Medium-High to Highest of High ratings indicate a high likelihood of successful behavior change. Of course, there is work to be done, but you are poised and ready for success.
Lowest of Low to Neutral ratings do not imply that success is not attainable. Lower scores are rich with valuable information. With thoughtful review and discussion proper next steps are determined. Tips for success are provided at the end of the quiz.
Throughout the following pages we have separated Health + Happiness into ten areas. Rate each area in two categories:
Consider your life at this moment—not last year or what might happen in the future.
The first step to making change is becoming aware. Where would you like to make change? Where are you (Current Status) and where you would like to be (Desired Status)? The difference—well, that is the change! Next, prioritizing change allows you to determine an initial focus.
Want to go a little deeper and think a bit more about future change? Think about the following questions...
If you make no change, how do you see your Health + Happiness in 3-5 years? What would be the worst case scenario?
If you do make health behavior/lifestyle change, how do you envision your health and happiness in the next 3-5 years? What would be the best-case scenario?
